Genesis 23 to 40

Genesis 23:1-20

The Life of Sarah.
Abraham purchases a burial place property from the Hittites.

Genesis 24:1-67

by Divine providence Rebecca is located for Isaac in Mesopotamia,
to become the mother of millions and future Israel, and the Messiah.

The chapter has four divisions according to Biblia Hebraica Stuttgartensia:
The first three are marked with double spacing in the Hebrew text and the final
verse by a Masoretic major section marker (פ)

Verses 1-9 culminating with the oath taken by Avraham’s servant
Verses 10-49 culminating with the option not to grant leave for Rebecca to go
Verses 50-60 culminatiing with the blessing and prophesy over Rebecca
Verses 61-67 the successful outcome of the whole account

The traditional translation/interpretation, “The LORD”, for
the Tetragrammaton, יְהוָ֣ה, is at the beginning of this translation of chapter 24 also rendered as the proper name, Yehovah. The name is translated by others as “Yahweh” and in Jewish circles as HaShem (“The Name”).

Moses wrote the account from his perspective in time. Previously the Divine Name, Yehovah, had not been revealed. —
Exodus 6:3 KJV “And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name, JEHOVAH was I not known to them.”

Are we looking at a proper name which is also an acronym?

Lineage and Titles of Jesus Christ
Yeshua HaMashiach –  Jesus The Messiah – The Anointed Salvatore

Yeshua HaNotzri VeMelech HaYehudim
Jesus the Nazarene and The King of the Jews

Yud He Waw He (The Tetragrammaton revealed)
Jesus the Nazarene and The King of the Jews (see video above)

Human Lineage:

Lineal father – descended from David (the tribe of Judah),
King of Israel (and so, King of the Jews and Israel)
Father: Joseph (a name from the tribe of Joseph,
no doubt through intermarriage).

Mother: Mary (Miriam in Hebrew)
A lineal descendant of Aaron the high priest.

Divine Lineage:

God Himself: His Father, so not of the human lineage
Melchizedek: King of Righteousness (Hebrews 7:2)
Position:
King of Salem/Shalem – King of Peace (Hebrews 7:2)
King of JeruShalem/Jerusalem (Genesis 14:18)

The Melchizedek priesthood gives Biblical precedence
establishing the Right of Jesus to act as our Great High Priest.
No Aaronic high priest had ever been part of the tribe of Judah,
from which the lineage of a person was deemed to emanate.

A Naming Clue:

Ancient Hebrew naming tradition seems to be based on previous names given in a tribe or family – Luke 1:61

Let everyone be convinced in their own mind.

Genesis 30

Jacob builds up a family under unusual circumstances.

He also acquires great possessions by extraordinary methods:—

He uses tree branches with torn-off strips of bark from
three different tree species, placed in the sight of the flock
when they are in heat, so that striped, speckled and spotted offspring are produced.

The question is, why are these methods not used today for breeding sheep and goats, or is there another reason why this breeding system was so successful?

Please note the special characteristics of the three tree species:
